We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Resort Nurse who can provide professional healthcare support to both our guests and colleagues. This role is vital in maintaining the health and safety of everyone on the island, ensuring peace of mind and timely medical response when needed.
Job Overview
As the Resort Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering daily medical care, handling health-related emergencies, and maintaining medical records and supplies at the resort clinic. You will be the primary healthcare provider on the island and a critical point of contact for all health and wellness matters.
Your duties will also include promoting overall wellness and hygiene practices among staff, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with local healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive health assessments including gathering medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and executing diagnostic procedures.

Attend to all medical emergencies, providing first aid and, when required, accompanying guests or staff to the nearest hospital or medical center.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and follow-ups.

Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the resort’s medical clinic, ensuring all equipment is properly disinfected and sterilized.

Manage the inventory and ensure proper maintenance of all medical equipment, including oxygen tanks, first aid kits, and other essential tools.

Monitor and control the issuance of sick leave authorizations in accordance with resort policy.

Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and health advice to staff and guests.

Provide regular health checkups and preventive care services for resort employees.

Ensure the clinic is stocked with necessary medicines and supplies and that first aid kits around the resort are replenished and functional.

Stay updated with the latest healthcare guidelines, participating in relevant training and continuing professional development.

Collaborate closely with the resort management and HR department on all health and safety matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license in the Maldives.

Degree in Nursing or a related medical field.

Minimum of four years of continuous employment, with at least one year of work experience in the Maldives preferred.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
