Emerald Faarufushi is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join its dynamic culinary team. This role is integral to maintaining the resort’s commitment to world-class gastronomy. The successful candidate will assist in leading the kitchen team, ensure culinary excellence across multiple outlets, and uphold the resort’s reputation for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
🧑🍳 Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in our kitchen operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in supervising kitchen operations and managing culinary staff.

Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with consistency and creativity across a variety of cuisines.

Ensuring proper food hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Supporting the development of new menu items and contributing to seasonal menu changes.

Training and mentoring junior kitchen team members to maintain high culinary standards.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Junior Sous Chef role in a luxury resort or international hotel setting.
