Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Assistant Training Manager to join our professional team. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals with a passion for learning and development, who are committed to enhancing the skills, performance, and engagement of resort staff.

As Assistant Training Manager, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and managing training programs across all departments, ensuring the resort maintains the highest standards of service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Training Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training plans.
• Design and deliver engaging training programs tailored to the requirements of different departments.
• Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to familiarize them with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Organize and facilitate ongoing training sessions to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation to track employee progress and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience in a training or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of LQA standards is an added advantage.
