The Role: Waitress (Preferably Indonesian)
As a Waitress at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service throughout their dining experiences. You will be the face of the resort’s exceptional hospitality standards, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Excellence: Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to all guests in the resort’s dining areas, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the meal.

Menu Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the resort’s menu offerings, including food and beverage items, to provide accurate recommendations and answer guest queries.

Order Taking and Delivery: Take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring that all orders are accurately recorded and promptly delivered to the kitchen and bar.

Service Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station, ensuring that all tableware, utensils, and condiments are readily available.

Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a polite, courteous, and professional manner to make them feel comfortable and valued. Respond promptly to their requests and concerns.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members, including chefs, kitchen staff, and fellow waitstaff, to ensure a seamless service experience.

Up-selling and Promotions: Promote special offers, new menu items, or signature dishes to guests, enhancing their experience and contributing to the resort's revenue.

Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring that the dining environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements:
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a candidate who has:

Proven experience as a Waitress, preferably in a resort or luxury hotel environment.

Prior experience in the Maldives or other high-end destinations is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional language skills, particularly Indonesian, are a plus).

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, ensuring all guest needs are met in a timely manner.
