Available Job Position: Guest Service Manager (Russian Speaking)

We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Guest Service Manager to join our exceptional team at SAii Lagoon Maldives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for hospitality and the ability to engage with our international guests, particularly those who speak Russian. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to creating personalized and memorable experiences for every guest.

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Guest Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by overseeing guest services and managing a team of professionals dedicated to the highest standards of service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Guest Interaction:

    • Provide exemplary customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.

    • Engage with Russian-speaking guests to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout their stay, offering personalized recommendations and services.

    • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of guest service agents and front desk staff, ensuring that all team members uphold the brand's high standards of service.

    • Provide training and continuous support to the team, ensuring the delivery of personalized and memorable guest experiences.

    • Foster a collaborative, positive work environment where team members feel supported and valued.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations at the front desk and guest service areas.

    • Oversee check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    • Maintain high standards of guest service quality, ensuring that the resort is always ready to exceed guest expectations.

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making:

    • Resolve any guest-related issues promptly and effectively, making decisions that benefit both the guest and the resort.

    • Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome upon arrival and a memorable farewell upon departure.

  • Guest Experience Strategy:

    • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and activities, to ensure a seamless guest experience.

    • Suggest improvements to enhance guest experiences and drive customer satisfaction.

Candidate Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar guest service role in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial position.

    • Previous experience working in the Maldives or similar luxury resort destinations will be a strong advantage.

  • Language Skills:

    • Fluency in both English and Russian is essential, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Russian-speaking guests and international visitors.

    • Proficiency in additional languages would be an advantage.

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

    • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with grace.

    • A collaborative team player with an eye for detail, focused on delivering excellent guest service.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of hospitality management software, including Opera and Micros, would be a significant advantage.

    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Fun, friendly, and outgoing personality with the ability to engage with guests naturally.

    • A passion for creating memorable experiences and building lasting relationships with guests.

    • Business acumen, strong guest PR skills, and a personal flair for hospitality.
