Key Responsibilities (by role)
Kids Club Supervisor
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the kids’ activity programme and supervise Kids Club staff.
- Design age-appropriate activities that reflect Oaga’s creative and cultural themes.
- Ensure child safety, maintain records, and communicate with parents and management.
Dive & Watersports Assistant
- Prepare and maintain water-sport equipment; brief guests on safety procedures.
- Assist instructors and guides during excursions, monitor participants and provide basic first aid when required.
- Support guest bookings, logistics, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Kitchen Coordinator
- Support the Executive Sous Chef to coordinate kitchen operations and staff rosters.
- Supervise prep, quality control, inventory tracking and ensure consistent menu standards.
- Maintain hygiene documentation and assist with training and service coordination.
Dive Master / Instructor
- Lead guided dives, conduct dive briefings and manage dive logistics and safety.
- As an Instructor, deliver student training, certify new divers (agency standards such as PADI), and run theory/practical sessions.
- Promote marine conservation, ensure equipment upkeep, and deliver excellent guest service.
Engineering Coordinator
- Assist the Engineering leadership with day-to-day maintenance administration and departmental paperwork.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, support technical teams, and suggest improvements to processes.
- Help ensure resort systems run reliably to deliver a safe, comfortable guest experience.
Safety & Security Officer
- Monitor surveillance, conduct patrols, and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
- Respond to incidents, report hazards, and assist in emergency procedures and staff training.
- Collaborate with local authorities when necessary and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
Job Specification — Skills, Experience & Requirements
Candidates applying for any of the positions should meet the following general requirements. Specific roles may have additional mandatory certifications (e.g., diving instructor certification, lifeguard/first aid, trade qualifications):
- Relevant educational qualification OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury resort environment.
- Professionalism, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Genuine enthusiasm for guest service and a creative, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong time-management and prioritisation abilities; able to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and under general supervision; calm and confident under pressure.
- Role-specific certifications where applicable (PADI/SSI for Dive roles, First Aid, engineering trade certificates, or security training).
