Position: Human Resources Manager

Milaidhoo Maldives is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead our HR team and foster a thriving, inclusive workplace culture. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about hospitality and people management, with a strong background in luxury resort operations.
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, while promoting employee engagement and organizational development aligned with Milaidhoo’s high standards of service and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes tailored to luxury hospitality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Maldivian labour laws and employment regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs promoting a positive work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to HR team and department heads on employee relations and performance management.
- Handle conflict resolution with a professional, people-first approach.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of inclusion and high performance.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and integrity.
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic HR planning to support resort growth.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as a Human Resources Manager in luxury hospitality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Maldivian labour laws, employment regulations, and resort HR operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- People-first mindset with the ability to foster an inclusive, multicultural environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Maldivian nationals preferred.
