Dusit Thani Maldives is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Coordinator to join our hospitality team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth housekeeping operations and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to support both administrative and operational functions within the housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage attendance, time records, lost and found items, guest requests, room status updates, and master/section keys.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, answering calls, and coordinating with other departments as required.
- Monitor inventory of guest and cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock and efficient usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional housekeeping office environment.
- Report incidents promptly and participate in departmental briefings and training sessions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive support and attention to detail.
- Promote the hotel’s image and uphold its standards of service and hospitality.
- Implement cost-saving measures and support teamwork to ensure smooth and efficient housekeeping operations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- High Vocational Diploma in any relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related hospitality roles preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical tasks is an asset.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a pleasant personality, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
