Job Title and Description: Waiter (Maldivian)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and committed Waiter who is passionate about hospitality and guest service. As a Waiter at Malahini Kuda Bandos, you will be the face of our dining experience, welcoming guests warmly and guiding them through our menu selections.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver attentive, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations. Key Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests promptly and courteously to ensure a positive first impression.
Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to guarantee timely service.
Provide insightful recommendations and upsell resort products and services to enhance the guest dining experience.
Assist travelers with special needs, including managing food allergies and dietary preferences.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant in line with HACCP standards and resort policies.
Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field is desirable.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar waiter role within a luxury resort or hospitality setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service sequence and standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dhivehi.
Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and resilience under pressure.
WSET Level 1 certification in wines and spirits is an advantage but not mandatory.
