Team Leader, Reservations – Job Overview
Kurumba Maldives is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader, Reservations to join our Reservations Department. This is a leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background in hospitality bookings, customer service, and revenue optimization.
As Team Leader, you will manage the daily operations of our reservations team, ensuring that booking processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maximizing occupancy, managing room inventory, supporting the sales strategy, and maintaining high service standards in all guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, Reservations, your core duties will include:

Leading and supervising the reservations team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Managing room allocations, rate strategies, and availability across all booking channels.

Building and maintaining relationships with guests, travel agents, and online travel agencies (OTAs).

Overseeing group bookings, cancellations, and special requests with efficiency and accuracy.

Training and mentoring team members to deliver exceptional guest service.

Collaborating with the Sales & Marketing team to support promotional and revenue-boosting campaigns.

Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing improvements where necessary.

Ensuring compliance with resort policies and safety regulations.

Conducting performance reviews and setting objectives for the reservations team.

Acting as a key liaison between departments for seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications and Skills Required
We are looking for an individual who brings both experience and a proactive approach to hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in a reservations role within a luxury resort or hotel (minimum 2–3 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, or similar).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.
