Job Title: IT Coordinator
We are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT Coordinator to manage and maintain the resort’s IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in systems, networks, and hospitality software, and who is passionate about supporting operational excellence in a luxury resort environment.
As part of our dynamic team, the IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of all digital systems — from backend operations to guest services.
Key Responsibilities
As IT Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing and maintaining the resort’s IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and computer systems

Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers

Providing technical support to resort staff across all departments

Managing key hospitality applications such as Opera, Opera Cloud, SUN Systems, and Oracle Hospitality Symphony

Monitoring system performance and implementing upgrades or fixes as necessary

Ensuring data security and regular backup of resort data

Supporting Office 365 and cloud-based applications

Documenting IT policies, procedures, and inventory records
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

Proven experience in IT support or management, preferably in a Maldives resort or similar hospitality setting

In-depth technical knowledge of computer systems, operating networks, and software platforms
