Job Opportunity: Demi Chef de Partie (Staff Canteen)

Noku Maldives is seeking a motivated and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to support culinary operations at the staff canteen. This is an exceptional opportunity for chefs looking to expand their experience in a high-volume, multicultural kitchen within a premium resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

As Demi Chef de Partie (Staff Canteen), your role is vital to ensuring our team is well-nourished with high-quality meals throughout the day. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking buffet-style meals for resort staff (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and themed nights).

  • Supporting the daily operation of the staff canteen kitchen, ensuring timely and consistent meal service.

  • Ensuring food is prepared and presented according to hygiene and safety standards.

  • Assisting in the management of kitchen inventory and maintaining cleanliness in workstations.

  • Collaborating with kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth operations and positive team dynamics.

  • Contributing creative ideas for menu planning and themed events.

  • Monitoring and minimizing food waste through effective kitchen practices.


Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this hospitality job in the Maldives, the candidate must bring a strong culinary foundation and a commitment to excellence. The following are required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a buffet kitchen or high-volume food preparation, preferably within a luxury resort or hotel setting.

  • Formal culinary training or a diploma from a recognized culinary institute.

  • Experience in hot kitchen and cold kitchen operations.
