Key Responsibilities

As a member of The Nautilus kitchen brigade, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard of quality and consistency

  • Collaborating with senior chefs on menu creation, ingredient sourcing, and plating innovation

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times

  • Managing inventory, supplies, and kitchen operations for your assigned section

  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff

  • Assisting in delivering unique, tailor-made culinary experiences based on guest preferences

Your role is vital in helping us maintain our reputation as one of the top luxury resort destinations in the Maldives.


Qualifications and Skills Required

We are looking for passionate professionals who embody the spirit of ultra-luxury hospitality and share our dedication to excellence. Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star resort or luxury hotel

  • Professional culinary training or relevant certifications

  • A strong foundation in international cuisine, including fusion, Asian, and Western culinary styles

  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and communication skills

  • A flexible, proactive, and guest-focused mindset

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Previous experience in hospitality jobs in the Maldives or on private island resorts is a strong advantage.
