Patina Maldives is currently inviting applications for the position of Receptionist to join the Front Office team. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest service and thrive in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.
The Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth front desk operations, acting as the first and last point of contact for guests. From check-in to check-out, the Receptionist is responsible for delivering a warm, efficient, and personalized experience while maintaining accuracy in reservations, billing, and guest records. This position works closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and seamless service delivery throughout the guest journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all billing details are correct and perform cashier-related duties and guest account billing.
- Maintain strict compliance with data protection regulations and security procedures for guest registration and financial transactions.
- Review daily arrival lists, identify VIPs and guests with special preferences, and communicate details to relevant departments.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness and accurate room status reporting.
- Provide guests with detailed information about room features, resort facilities, services, and emergency procedures.
- Promote resort offerings, loyalty programs, accommodation packages, and dining services to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Plan and communicate special occasion arrangements such as birthdays and anniversaries.
- Handle guest feedback, service issues, and complaints professionally, ensuring timely follow-up and service recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and arrangements in the property management system.
- Support administrative tasks, including responding to emails and telephone inquiries.
- Be flexible with work schedules, including night shift rotations when required.
- Uphold departmental policies, safety standards, and cleanliness of the working area at all times.
Qualifications and Skills Required
