Job Titles and Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join our Engineering team at Diamonds Athuruga Beach & Water Villas. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of all kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring guests receive uninterrupted service at all times.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial kitchen and industrial laundry equipment, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to safety and operational efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to advance your resort careers in the Maldives while working in a vibrant, multicultural environment.
General Requirements
Successful candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Technician, Laundry Technician, or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of commercial kitchen and industrial laundry equipment.
- Ability to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
- Willingness to support other engineering maintenance tasks when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
