Job Title and Description
JOALI BEING is currently seeking a highly driven and professional Security Officer to join the Security Department. This role is ideal for candidates who are dedicated to maintaining safety, ensuring compliance, and creating a secure environment for guests and staff. The resort is looking for individuals who are motivated, disciplined, and passionate about delivering excellent service while upholding the standards of a luxury wellness resort.
As part of the security team, you will play a key role in safeguarding the property, responding to emergencies, and supporting the well-being of the JOALI BEING community. Key Responsibilities
The Security Officer will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and maintaining the safety of guests, staff, and property.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations and security-related incidents.
- Conducting routine patrols and security checks around the resort.
- Ensuring all firefighting equipment and safety devices are functioning properly.
- Supporting the implementation of occupational health and safety protocols.
- Assisting in managing government regulations related to safety and compliance.
- Providing guidance, support, and quick response during water-related emergencies.
- Maintaining documentation and detailed reports of security observations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in security operations.
- Certifications and formal training in security-related fields, including completed Lifeguard and Fire Brigade training.
- Strong understanding of emergency response procedures.
- Experience working with firefighting equipment, smoke detectors, occupational health and safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient swimming skills and confidence in water-related situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluent communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Outgoing, motivated personality with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A strong passion for leading and promoting a healthy lifestyle within the workplace.
