Location: Kandima Maldives

Kandima Maldives is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen teams. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring productivity and the successful execution of rostered shifts. This role involves identifying training needs, mentoring team members, and ensuring high culinary standards across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Manage and mentor kitchen staff, identifying training needs and supporting professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation across all F&B outlets.
  • Develop and maintain high culinary standards for all menu offerings.
  • Contribute to menu planning, seasonal updates, and innovative culinary concepts.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role at a five-star luxury resort.
  • High school graduate with a culinary school certification.
  • HACCP trained and certified with strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in conducting staff training and mentoring kitchen teams.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
