Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join its professional team. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Housekeeping in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, your duties will include:
- Assist the Head of Housekeeping in managing all aspects of the department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation across the property.
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to meet guest expectations and operational benchmarks.
- Address guest inquiries, feedback, and service requests promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction.
- Promote a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, open communication, and staff motivation.
- Assist in onboarding and continuous training programs for housekeeping staff to uphold service excellence.
- Contribute to developing departmental goals, standard operating procedures, and improvement initiatives.
- Support budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate procurement of supplies and equipment as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, aligning with international best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations and deliver superior guest experiences.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury resort or international hotel.
- Previous work experience in the Maldives is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Dhivehi communication.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Opera PMS or equivalent systems.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, train, and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a hands-on approach and commitment to quality service.
- Energetic, creative, and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-pressure resort environment.
