Velassaru Maldives is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join its Food & Beverage team. This role involves providing exceptional wine, cocktail, and beverage services to guests across bars, lounges, restaurants, and deck areas.
The ideal candidate will be guest-focused, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that Velassaru is renowned for.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bartender at Velassaru Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.
- Ensuring guest expectations are met and exceeded in every interaction.
- Assisting guests with menu choices and drink options.
- Maintaining the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized.
- Upholding excellent personal grooming and hygiene, ensuring uniform standards are met.
- Providing proactive, customer-focused service at all times.
- Flexibly responding to changing requirements and performing tasks as requested.
- Accurately entering all orders into the system and ensuring checks are processed correctly.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bartender in a five-star resort environment.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Hardworking, positive attitude, and pleasant personality.
- Flexible with duty hours and scope; a team player.
- Guest-oriented and service-minded approach.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
