CROSSROADS Maldives is currently hiring talented, dedicated professionals for the following Thai culinary positions:

  • Thai Sous Chef

  • Thai Chef de Partie

  • Thai Commis

We are seeking Thai nationals with strong culinary backgrounds and a passion for delivering authentic Thai cuisine. These roles are integral to maintaining the high-quality culinary standards our guests expect from a luxury resort job in the Maldives. Whether you're an experienced Sous Chef ready to lead or a Commis Chef looking to grow, your voyage starts here.

Key Responsibilities

Thai Sous Chef

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations for Thai cuisine outlets

  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation

  • Create and maintain a diverse, high-quality Thai menu

  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff

  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas

  • Collaborate with management to design new menus and seasonal offerings

Thai Chef de Partie

  • Assist the Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen tasks

  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation

  • Oversee food preparation and production in assigned kitchen sections

  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff

  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients

Thai Commis

  • Support the culinary team in food prep and basic cooking

  • Assist senior chefs in service and plating

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

  • Follow instructions and contribute to team success

  • Learn and grow within a fast-paced professional kitchen environment

Qualifications and Skills Required

Thai Sous Chef

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Proven leadership in a high-pressure kitchen setting

  • Strong understanding of authentic Thai flavors and techniques

  • Fluent in English; Thai nationality preferred

  • Ability to multitask and lead a multicultural team

Thai Chef de Partie

  • Minimum 2–3 years in a similar role or as a strong Demi Chef

  • Expertise in Thai cuisine required

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and efficient under pressure

  • Good communication skills in English; Thai nationality preferred

Thai Commis

  • 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred

  • Basic culinary knowledge in Thai cuisine

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a culinary team

  • Thai nationality preferred with functional English skills
