Job Title and Description

Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader, Kitchen Stewarding to join its professional culinary and hospitality team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily stewarding operations to ensure smooth and efficient functionality.
  • Allocate and manage stewarding staff across operational areas on a daily basis.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchens and food preparation areas.
  • Ensure proper mise en place and operational readiness in all assigned sections.
  • Monitor and minimize breakages, losses, and chemical usage to support cost control initiatives.
  • Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, and facilities.
  • Implement hotel sanitation and food safety standards while taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain proper inventory control of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and stewarding equipment.
  • Optimize staff productivity while maintaining consistent service quality standards.
  • Train team members on hygiene, health and safety, fire safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Promote energy-saving practices and encourage operational cost awareness among staff.
  • Coordinate with restaurant teams during special events, outdoor dinners, buffets, and BBQ nights.
  • Support preventive maintenance planning in coordination with the Engineering department.
  • Monitor employee attendance and report operational concerns to the Chief Steward.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to inventories, duty rosters, breakages, and casual labor records.
