Job Title and Description
Diamonds Thudufushi Beach & Water Villas is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Speedboat Captain to join its marine operations team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional transfer of guests and supplies between the resort and nearby islands, airports, and docking points.

- Handle luggage, cargo, and supplies, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures are followed.
- Assist in delivering safety briefings and guiding passengers on the use of onboard safety equipment.
- Maintain all safety equipment in proper working condition at all times.
- Conduct routine engine checks and assist in inspecting onboard mechanical and safety systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall upkeep of the speedboat to resort standards.
- Ensure the vessel is securely moored after all operations are completed.
- Prepare and serve face towels and assist in creating a welcoming guest arrival experience onboard.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, responding to inquiries when needed.
- Support inventory management and reporting related to launch operations.
- Communicate effectively with the Front Office Manager regarding arrivals, departures, and operational updates.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Valid Speedboat Captain License issued by the Maldives authorities (mandatory requirement).
- Previous experience in marine operations, boating, or a similar role within a resort environment.
