Job Title and Description

Niva Velassaru Maldives is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join its Reservations team as a Reservation Agent.   • Process reservations through email, telephone, fax, and central reservation systems efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle bookings from sales offices, travel agents, online travel agencies (OTAs), and direct guests.
  • Provide professional service to tour operators, travel agencies, and partners both locally and internationally.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the resort’s reservation policies, room categories, packages, and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and send reservation confirmation letters following standard procedures.
  • Manage booking modifications and cancellations, ensuring timely communication with the Front Office team.
  • Monitor room pick-up trends and occupancy forecasts, taking proactive action when necessary.
  • Update and manage the channel manager, including OTA inventory, rates, and promotional offers.
  • Generate and analyze reports such as competitor set (compset), group bookings, daily reports, and conversion reports.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team in optimizing occupancy levels and achieving revenue targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the resort facilities and local attractions to assist guests effectively.

Qualifications and Skills Required
