- Guest Service Officer (Maldivian)
The Guest Service Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless resort operations, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the property. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a vibrant, multicultural team environment.
General Requirements
Successful candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a resort environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Fluency in any foreign language is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to guest queries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate room assignments and manage special requests for tours, watersports activities, resort facilities, and entertainment.
- Maintain traveler profiles, including feedback and recommendations received.
- Identify opportunities to promote, upsell, and cross-sell resort products and services.
- Act as a central hub for all departments to ensure smooth and seamless resort operations.
