Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is seeking a skilled and energetic Dive Instructor (Russian Speaking) to join its dedicated recreation and marine team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for the ocean, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver exceptional underwater experiences for guests.
This position is ideal for professionals who love sharing their knowledge of marine life while ensuring memorable and safe dive excursions. As a representative of one of the most respected luxury resorts in the Maldives, the Dive Instructor will play a key role in maintaining Park Hyatt’s reputation for excellence in guest service and marine recreation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Dive Instructor (Russian Speaking) at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, your main duties include:
- Conducting diving and snorkeling excursions for guests, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times.
- Providing professional instruction to divers of various skill levels in accordance with PADI standards.
- Communicating effectively in both Russian and English to assist international guests.
- Maintaining diving equipment and ensuring all gear is safe, clean, and properly stored.
- Promoting marine awareness and conservation through guest engagement and education.
- Supporting other resort water activities and collaborating with team members to enhance guest experiences.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations established by the resort and PADI.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as a Dive Instructor or in a similar role within a resort or liveaboard environment.
- PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) certification or higher, with active teaching status.
- Fluent in Russian and English (both spoken and written).
- Strong commitment to guest safety and high service standards.
- Energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities, with flexibility to work varied hours.
- Previous experience working in the Maldives is an added advantage.
