Kandima Maldives is looking for dynamic and detail-oriented professionals to join its growing team. The resort invites applications for the roles of Recruitment Officer and Accountant, offering the chance to contribute to one of the most innovative and vibrant resort environments in the Maldives.
The Recruitment Officer will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources Department through recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and employee welfare initiatives. Key Responsibilities
For the Recruitment Officer:
- Maintain and organize CV databases through Manatal and designated email folders by department.
- Coordinate interview arrangements and perform reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
- Prepare job offers following HRD and HRM guidelines and manage candidate follow-ups.
- Handle the entire work permit process, including applications, renewals, and cancellations via the XPAT system.
- Ensure documentation completion for all new hires and coordinate welcome arrangements and orientations.
- Maintain personnel files, accommodation databases, and performance review tracking systems.
- Assist with team welfare initiatives, social events, and HR administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with HR management to promote employee engagement and well-being across the resort.
For the Accountant:
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports, budgets, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and resort financial policies.
- Coordinate with department heads to track expenses and cost control measures.
- Support internal audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Monitor cash flow, payroll, and payment processes efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant professional qualifications or degrees in Human Resources, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR or accounting systems (e.g., Fusion, XPAT, Manatal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Professional, proactive, and adaptable attitude with a focus on delivering results.
