Job Opportunity: Painter – Engineering Team
We are currently seeking an experienced Painter to join our Engineering Department at Finolhu Maldives. If you take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail, this role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the maintenance and aesthetic appeal of one of the Maldives' most luxurious resorts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Painter at Finolhu Maldives, your primary duties will include:
- Performing interior and exterior painting for resort buildings, villas, and public areas.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming before painting.
- Applying high-quality finishes using different painting techniques to ensure durability and aesthetics.
- Repairing wall damage, touch-ups, and refinishing as required.
- Mixing and matching paint colors to maintain consistency across resort areas.
- Using professional painting tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Following health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Assisting in general maintenance tasks as part of the Engineering team when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
✅ Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or construction industry.
✅ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
✅ Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within the Engineering team and independently when needed.
✅ Attention to Detail: High level of precision in finishing work and maintaining resort standards.
✅ Communication: Basic English skills to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
✅ Work Ethic: Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-driven.
✅ Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced resort environment and handle multiple tasks.
