Location: Kandima Maldives, Dhaalu Atoll
Kandima Maldives is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Marine Biologist to lead marine biology and environmental programs under the Aquaholics team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coral restoration, reef monitoring, sustainability initiatives, and guest education on marine conservation.

Key Responsibilities
As the Marine Biologist at Kandima Maldives, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all marine biology and environmental activities under Aquaholics.
- Implementing and maintaining coral restoration and propagation projects.
- Conducting reef monitoring and data collection to assess marine ecosystem health.
- Developing and delivering guest education programs on marine conservation and sustainability.
- Collaborating with resort departments to strengthen eco-friendly initiatives and sustainable operations.
- Organizing workshops, presentations, and guided snorkeling or diving tours for guests.
- Preparing regular reports, documenting progress, and sharing findings with management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury resort environment.
- Certified PADI Divemaster or equivalent qualification (Instructor certification is an advantage).
- Proficiency in coral propagation, reef monitoring, and environmental data reporting.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Passionate about marine conservation, sustainability, and guest engagement.
