Position: Learning & Development Manager
Location: Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Noonu Atoll, Maldives

Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to lead training and talent development initiatives within our Human Resources department. This is a key leadership position that focuses on enhancing employee performance, driving engagement, and ensuring continuous professional growth across the resort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning programs that align with the resort’s strategic goals. You will work closely with department heads to identify training needs, deliver impactful learning solutions, and maintain a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing learning and development programs across departments.
• Conducting training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and future development areas.
• Creating and delivering engaging training modules, workshops, and leadership programs.
• Managing training budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Collaborating with department heads to drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Tracking training outcomes and maintaining detailed reports to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Promoting a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
• Overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensuring all training records are up to date.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and possess the skills below:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Learning & Development Manager, Training Manager, or similar role in a 5-star hotel or resort.
• Strong communication, project management, and budgeting skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern learning and development methods.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external vendors.
• Professional certification such as CIPD or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable to working in a remote island environment.
• Positive attitude, strong initiative, and a passion for people development.
