Noku Maldives by Vignette Collection is seeking a passionate and driven professional to join its dynamic Human Resources team as an Assistant Human Resources Manager. Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Human Resources Manager at Noku Maldives, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the HR Manager in implementing and monitoring HR strategies, policies, and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Overseeing daily HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Coordinating expatriate documentation, visa processing, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Supervising HR Executive, Team Village Attendants, and Imaam to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Managing employee engagement programs, staff activities, and welfare initiatives to strengthen workplace culture.
  • Supporting payroll processing, benefits administration, and staff accommodation management.
  • Assisting in performance management, training coordination, and staff development initiatives.
  • Handling employee grievances with professionalism, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Maintaining Fusion system updates and preparing HR data reports for management decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Maldives Employment Act and immigration processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with Fusion systems.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive, people-focused attitude.
