Finolhu is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Reservations Agent to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about delivering excellent service, skilled at managing booking systems, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of one of the Maldives’ leading luxury resorts.
As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a vital role in shaping their initial experience of the resort. Key Responsibilities
As a Reservations Agent at Finolhu Maldives, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing guest reservations and ensuring all bookings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Providing professional and timely communication with guests, agents, and partners.
- Ensuring compliance with LQA/Forbes service standards during the reservation process.
- Generating reports, maintaining guest profiles, and supporting the Reservations Manager in daily operations.
- Handling special requests, guest inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination with other departments.
- Supporting the team in meeting departmental goals and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this role will bring the following qualifications and skills:
- 1–2 years of experience in Reservations within the hotel industry, preferably with a 5-star or ultra-luxury brand.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with LQA/Forbes standards for reservations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel for reporting.
- Experience working with PMS systems and understanding operational workflows.
- Knowledge of Protel software is a plus (training provided for those willing to learn).
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
- Team player with a positive mindset and commitment to excellence.
