Atmosphere Kanifushi is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dive Instructor to join its dynamic Water Sports and Recreation team. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about the underwater world, guest safety, and delivering extraordinary diving experiences.
The Dive Instructor will be responsible for guiding guests through unforgettable dives, offering certified training sessions, and sharing knowledge about marine conservation. Key Responsibilities
As a Dive Instructor at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting guided dives for guests of varying experience levels, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
- Delivering professional PADI training sessions and certifications in compliance with international diving standards.
- Maintaining dive equipment, facilities, and ensuring operational readiness at all times.
- Providing safety briefings, emergency preparedness, and adhering to dive safety protocols.
- Educating guests on local marine ecosystems, conservation practices, and sustainable diving etiquette.
- Collaborating with the Water Sports team to organize special programs, excursions, and events.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Certified PADI (minimum OWSI) or equivalent professional diving certification.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience conducting dives and training guests in a professional setting.
- Excellent knowledge of dive safety standards, emergency procedures, and risk management.
- Strong swimming and free-diving skills with the ability to adapt to various conditions.
- Good communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Maldivian marine life and conservation practices is a strong advantage.
- Passion for guest service, safety, and creating memorable underwater experiences.
