Meeru Maldives is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join its dynamic culinary team. This role is suited for talented professionals with a proven track record in resort kitchens, who thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

As a Chef de Partie, you will work closely with the Sous Chef and lead the Commis team in preparing exceptional dishes that meet both guest expectations and resort standards. Key Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie at Meeru Maldives Resort Island, your main duties will include:

  • Ensure all Commis chefs follow proper sanitation and hygiene requirements.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure tasks are completed as directed by the Sous Chef.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food standards and consistency.
  • Support the Sous Chef with problem-solving, offering solutions and alternatives when needed.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and efficient kitchen operations to enhance guest dining experiences.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate for this job in the Maldives should possess the following:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the same capacity within a resort or similar environment.
  • A strong culinary background with proven knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate junior staff.
  • Any combination of education, training, or practical experience that provides the required skills and abilities.
  • First Aid, Fire Safety, Health, and Kitchen Safety certifications are preferred.
  • A passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and a drive for excellence.
