Atmosphere Kanifushi is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional looking to elevate their career in a globally recognized resort environment.
The Assistant Sales Manager will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing new markets, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Sales Manager at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing in expanding business in new markets and maintaining market share.
- Managing FAM trips and nurturing relationships with tour operators and destination management companies (DMCs).
- Developing and maintaining B2B client relationships while supporting destination marketing initiatives.
- Assisting in daily sales operations, reporting, and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Promoting the resort’s brand through networking, partnerships, and professional engagement.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be successful in this role, applicants should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role at a large or five-star property, preferably in the Maldives or Indian Ocean.
- Proven knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing FAM trips and working with tour operators and DMCs.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural, island-based work environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and office software.
- Additional language skills will be considered an advantage.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, organizational strength, and attention to detail.
