Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waiter / Waitress to join our Food and Beverage team. This role requires a service-oriented individual who can deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests with friendliness and efficiency.
As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be the face of our resort’s dining services, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their meals. This luxury resort job offers the opportunity to grow your career within the hospitality industry while working in a stunning island setting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Waiter / Waitress at Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa, your duties will include:
- Greet and seat guests warmly, providing friendly and professional service.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Present menus, offer recommendations, and answer questions about menu items and specials.
- Set up tables following resort standards, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
- Communicate effectively with guests to collect feedback and update supervisors or managers accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an international luxury brand.
- Proficient in English and Dhivehi, both spoken and written.
- Experience working in buffet restaurant settings and solid knowledge of LQA standards and international beverages.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
