Dhigali Maldives is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our staff canteen team. This role requires culinary expertise, creativity, and leadership to ensure smooth kitchen operations while upholding Dhigali’s core values.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate about food, and thrives in a multi-cultural team environment. This position also requires a friendly approach to colleagues and guests while maintaining high standards of culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to Dhigali Maldives standards.
- Specialize in pastry and dessert preparation for the staff canteen.
- Assist the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards in the kitchen.
- Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Contribute creatively to menu planning and recipe development.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role, preferably in a Maldives resort.
- Specialized experience in pastry preparation.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and oversee a team.
- Passionate about interacting with guests and working in a multi-cultural team.
- Culinary school diploma and HACCP certification preferred.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
