Location: Dhigali Maldives
Dhigali Maldives is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Chief Steward to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
The Chief Steward will lead the stewarding team, maintain impeccable hygiene standards in all food preparation and service areas, and ensure compliance with Maldivian HACCP, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization in kitchens and service areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation in compliance with Dhigali Maldives protocols.
- Lead and supervise the stewarding team effectively, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies.
- Assist in inventory control and maintain accurate records of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Support other departments when needed to ensure seamless operational flow.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a Maldives resort.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Executional attention to detail, adept administration skills, and ability to supervise a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Physically fit to move and lift heavy objects as required.
- Positive attitude, creativity, and passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
