Job Title: Resort Accountant – Kandolhu Maldives
Kandolhu Maldives is currently hiring for the role of Accountant, a vital position in our administrative and financial operations. As an Accountant at a luxury island resort, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budget planning, and ensuring all financial transactions align with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As our Accountant, your core responsibilities will include:

Managing daily financial operations and reports, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue reconciliation

Preparing and maintaining financial statements, monthly reports, and forecasts

Supporting internal audits and ensuring financial compliance with Maldivian regulations and resort policies

Assisting in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial planning

Collaborating with department heads to manage financial performance and expenses

Overseeing inventory and asset control systems

Supporting procurement and financial negotiations with suppliers when required

Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings
Qualifications and Skills Required
To thrive in this resort finance role in the Maldives, the ideal candidate should possess:

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar role at a 5-star resort or hotel

Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting systems

Familiarity with Maldives tax and labor regulations (preferred)

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

High attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management

Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Opera, or similar) and MS Excel
