Job Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Dusit Thani Maldives is looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing administrative and secretarial support to the Human Resources function. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the staff experience and ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.
Primary Responsibilities:
As the Human Resources Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Providing efficient administrative and secretarial support to the Human Resources team.
- Assisting with staff welfare programs, ensuring employees feel valued and supported throughout their time at the resort.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date information for all staff members from the moment of their arrival.
- Handling any welfare-related issues that arise and liaising with relevant individuals to resolve them promptly.
- Interacting with staff members regularly, ensuring customer-focused engagement and gathering valuable feedback.
- Monitoring daily staff transfer requests and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Assisting with the preparation of HR-related reports, maintaining records, and handling other clerical tasks as needed.
This role requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion, as you will be involved in sensitive employee information and HR processes. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of departments, gaining insight into the inner workings of a luxury resort.
Candidate Qualifications:
To be considered for the Human Resources Coordinator role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: A minimum of a High Vocational Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role is preferred. However, candidates without prior experience in HR are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of administrative or clerical tasks will be an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in basic English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
