Position: Engineering Coordinator
We are looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join our technical team and contribute to the seamless operation of our resort’s engineering department. If you have a strong background in engineering coordination, project management, and technical expertise, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow in a world-class hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing the engineering operations of our resort. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Engineering Team in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and technical projects across the resort.
- Utilizing project management software to track progress, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion.
- Preparing technical reports, maintaining accurate engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with resort policies and industry standards.
- Supporting the maintenance team with troubleshooting and resolving engineering-related issues.
- Collaborating with different departments to ensure all engineering projects align with the resort’s operational needs and guest expectations.
- Managing and updating engineering design files using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the resort.
- Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure materials and oversee project execution.
- Assisting in the development of preventive maintenance plans and ensuring proper implementation.
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in engineering technology and resort infrastructure improvements.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
✔️ Minimum one year of experience in a similar role or related engineering field.
✔️ Proficiency in project management software (such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
✔️ Strong knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
✔️ Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
✔️ Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
✔️ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
✔️ High attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and project execution.
✔️ Good understanding of engineering processes, technical terminology, and safety regulations.
✔️ A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
✔️ A flexible, creative mindset with a "Can Do" attitude and willingness to learn.
