Exciting Job Opportunities at JOALI Maldives
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Intern (Front Office & Service) – Chinese Speaking Preferred
As a Front Office & Service Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, working closely with our guest relations and service teams to ensure flawless experiences. Your responsibilities will include assisting with check-ins and check-outs, providing personalized guest services, and supporting daily front office operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred to assist international guests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A hospitality-related degree or diploma is an advantage.
- A proactive and service-oriented attitude.
2. Intern – Marine Biologist (Preferred Female)
As a Marine Biologist Intern, you will play a key role in our sustainability and conservation efforts, educating guests about marine life and supporting our reef protection initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in one of the world's most beautiful marine ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A background in marine biology, environmental science, or related fields.
- Passion for marine conservation and sustainability.
- Strong communication skills for guest engagement and education.
- Experience in snorkeling or diving is an advantage.
3. Jadugar (Butler) – Russian Speaking
As a Jadugar (Butler), you will be the personal host for our esteemed guests, providing bespoke services tailored to their preferences. You will ensure their stay is seamless, luxurious, and truly unforgettable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Russian to cater to our Russian-speaking guests.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for guest service.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and personalize their experience.
4. Spa Attendant
As a Spa Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the serene and luxurious ambiance of our world-class wellness center. You will assist in guest bookings, spa preparations, and ensuring all spa areas remain immaculate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a spa, wellness center, or luxury resort.
- Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and wellness products.
- A warm and welcoming personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning content that reflects the JOALI brand. Your designs will be used for marketing, promotions, social media, and guest communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- A strong portfolio showcasing luxury branding, marketing materials, and digital content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Qualifications & Requirements for All Positions
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (for non-internship positions).
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field from a reputable institution.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong command of English (additional languages are a plus).
- A positive attitude, pleasant personality, and adaptability to working in a remote island environment.
- Previous experience in an ultra-luxury resort is an advantage.
