Open Position: Barman
Kuramathi Maldives is currently looking for a Barman to join its vibrant Food & Beverage team. This is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality professionals who are passionate about mixology, customer service, and delivering memorable experiences to guests.
Key Responsibilities
As a Barman, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintaining an engaging and friendly atmosphere at the bar, ensuring guests enjoy a unique and memorable experience.
- Providing expert recommendations on drinks, cocktails, and food pairings.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and hygiene standards in beverage preparation and bar maintenance.
- Managing bar stock, taking inventory, and assisting in ordering supplies as required.
- Working collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet the following criteria:
✅ Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with international guests and team members.
✅ Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury resort, hotel, or high-end bar is an added advantage.
✅ Presentation & Grooming: Candidates must be well-groomed, presentable, and uphold professional hospitality standards.
✅ Physical Fitness: The role requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for long hours and performing tasks that demand agility and attentiveness.
✅ Teamwork & Attitude: A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a guest-centric mindset are essential to thrive in this role.
