Open Position: IT Administrator
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate IT Administrator to join our team at Diamonds Athuruga. If you’re a tech-savvy professional with a proactive mindset, this is your opportunity to shine.
Job Summary
As an IT Administrator, you will oversee the resort's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across servers, networks, and communication systems. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of all IT functions to support the resort's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, and communication systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide support for hotel software systems, including PMS, POS, and modules for Finance and HR.
- Administer Windows operating systems, Office applications, and other IT solutions critical to resort operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Configure and maintain DSLAM, Analog and IP telephony systems, firewall, NAS drives, and iMac devices.
- Manage GPON network infrastructure (preferred but not mandatory).
- Adapt to emerging technologies and changing business requirements to ensure operational efficiency.
- Uphold data security and implement measures to protect sensitive information.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of server administration and network management.
- Hands-on experience with IT systems and technologies used in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Vibrant personality with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
