Housekeeping Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Coordinator is an integral part of our operations, ensuring the seamless execution of daily housekeeping tasks. Acting as the central point of contact, this role involves effective communication and collaboration across departments to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor daily staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and timely responses to guest requests.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Actively supervise and guide housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks effectively.
- Manage time efficiently to handle high-pressure situations during peak periods.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordination position in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with Protel PMS and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to inspect rooms and supervise staff actively.
