We are seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to oversee the online revenue streams of our portfolio of resorts. Position Overview

Location: Malé, Maldives
Position: E-Commerce Manager

The E-Commerce Manager will implement long-term strategies to maximize online revenue across multiple platforms. You will work closely with various teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, optimize channel performance, and align the digital strategy with broader sales and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the hotel’s long-term E-Commerce strategy in line with corporate brand guidelines across brand websites, Online Travel Agencies (OTA), and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
  • Collaborate with the Head of Revenue and E-Commerce to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that optimize channel potential and enhance performance.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to maintain and optimize the website booking process, ensuring functionality and user-friendliness.
  • Align Digital Marketing and Public Relations (PR) activities with the overarching E-Commerce strategy to achieve consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
  • Develop and manage strategies for OTAs, including managing commercial terms, content updates, billing procedures, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of property management systems (PMS) and channel management tools, including training reservation teams on updates and usage.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales (DOS) to synchronize online and offline pricing and promotion strategies, ensuring optimal revenue generation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or Revenue Management within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with OTA extranets, SynXis CRS, Opera, MAESTRO, OTA Insights, SiteMinder, and TravelClick.
  • Prior experience with OTAs or digital platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with a commercially driven mindset.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
  • Exceptional listening and problem-solving abilities, with the foresight to anticipate business needs.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Commitment to client service, taking ownership of tasks beyond direct responsibilities.
