Position: Chef de Partie – Chinese Cuisine
Your Experience and Skills Include:
- Proven experience in fine dining or luxury hotel/resort environments.
- Expertise in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, with knowledge of cold and hot kitchen preparations.
- Working knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Proficiency in recipe software and basic computer applications, including Word and Excel.
- A detail-oriented and task-driven mindset with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Willingness to adapt to island life and work in a remote location.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Chef in Charge in managing kitchen operations across assigned shifts and stations.
- Preparing and serving food consistently in line with the restaurant's recipes, portioning, and cooking standards.
- Overseeing food preparation while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining the highest level of quality and presentation for all dishes served to guests.
