Position: IT Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities:
As an IT Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the resort’s IT systems. You will assist the IT Manager and the team in maintaining and managing IT infrastructure, providing support, and delivering training to staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the effective operation of key systems including Fidelio, Opera, Micros, and various PCs.
- Acting as the service center for all IT-related matters, providing support to users and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitoring and controlling usage of direct lines to ensure efficiency.
- Maintaining IT systems, including software and hardware management, ensuring 24-hour coverage for the hotel.
- Producing strategic and tactical IT business plans, including capital and operating budgets.
- Conducting periodic training and refresher courses for staff to ensure they are fully equipped with the necessary knowledge.
Candidate Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a medium-to-large organization. Exposure to the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge in Fidelio, Opera, Micros, PC, LAN, and other systems widely used in the hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Professional disposition with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
