Job Titles and Description
We are currently seeking a skilled AC Technician to join the Engineering team at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in a five-star luxury resort environment. This role is essential in ensuring our villas and resort facilities remain comfortable and fully operational for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems across the resort.
- Conduct basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for air conditioning units and related equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment data for accurate servicing.
- Ensure all AC systems operate efficiently and meet the resort’s high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to support overall resort operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following safety protocols.
- Report any issues or required repairs promptly to minimize service interruptions.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a five-star luxury resort.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Priority will be given to local candidates.
