Veligandu Maldives Resort Island is currently looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented, and energetic individuals to join our team in the roles of Pool Attendant and Waiter (Maldivian). Key Responsibilities
As part of the Veligandu team, your primary duties will include:
- Pool Attendant: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of the pool area.
- Provide towels, refreshments, and friendly assistance to guests around the pool and recreation areas.
- Monitor guest activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors.
- Waiter (Maldivian): Provide efficient and courteous food and beverage service in assigned outlets.
- Ensure tables and dining areas are properly set and maintained.
- Deliver a seamless dining experience through attentive service and a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to ensure satisfaction at every stage of service.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Candidates for these positions should meet the following requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a 5-star resort.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong service orientation and a pleasant personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced resort environment.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills relevant to the role.
