KAGI Maldives Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated and skilled Handyman to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the resort’s facilities and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically capable, and possesses hands-on technical skills to address various maintenance tasks.
As a Handyman, you will be an integral part of the resort operations, assisting in repairs, upkeep, and preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities
As a Handyman at KAGI Maldives Resort & Spa, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing general maintenance work including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving routine maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are used safely and appropriately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Supporting the resort team in delivering an exceptional guest experience through timely and professional maintenance.
- Assisting with special projects or emergency maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this Handyman position should have:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance or technical support role; prior resort or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong practical skills in general maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment repair.
- Knowledge of safety standards and proper handling of tools and protective equipment.
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy items, and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing or physical effort.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced resort environment.
- Maldivian candidates are preferred.
